Henry Tyler Hunt

It's been a busy few days....We checked in at 5:30 am on May 30th, Leanna's birthday and got ready to be induced. Things were real slow until about 3pm, when the baby started showing decelerations with each contraction. The doctor was debating back and forth, and re-checked to see her progress. Leanna felt like she should push, and an hour later, our little cone head came out, face up, and breathing like a champ. We just can't get our kids to flip.

Baby Tyler weighed in at 8.1 ozs, 20.5 inches....no way he would have come out natural in another week. Mom is doing well, and both will be home on Sunday.

SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO......

So I just finally watched the real Twilight Trailer and now I can't wait for 12/12/2008. (Thanks Brit for posting it on your blog). For those of you who haven't read the books yet, there is still time to read the Twilight series. Enjoy the movie trailer and pictures from the filming.

Lots of Birthday Fun....

OK...those people that really know me, know how much I love a great deal. Well, for those of you that don't know, these are the best "free" birthday deals around. David and I have had several free meals already, since his birthday was Monday and mine is Friday. You can even sign your kids up. If anyone knows about any other resturant that I haven't mentioned, please let me know. Just click on the place and it will take you to their birthday club and you can sign up. If you just had a birthday, well....I guess you'll have something fun to look forward to next year. You will get monthly newsletters from some of the places and news about their promotions, so use one of those spare email addresses. We think it's worth it and fun to have free food for the week of your birthday! Enjoy.

Jocelyn's First Haircut with Meghan Hanks!

Today, I am 38 weeks prenant and very ready to have this baby. Sunday through Monday I had contractions for a solid 24 hours and was sure I was on my way and then Monday night, last night, they just stopped. I couldn't believe it! What a nightmare....I guess my body is slowly getting ready and I have yet to learn the virtue of patience. I am so sorry that I have not posted earlier and to those of you that have asked why, I guess it's because I have been so busy trying to finish up on so many things before this baby comes. When he does, I just want to sit at home for a few weeks and do nothing. So....here are some highlights from the last few weeks:

Mother's Day Dinner at Rubies Diner on the Oceanside Pier

Short Summer Haircuts for both the girls

Hair Darkening for Me

A nice baby shower put on by David's sister, from Colorado with women from my ward/young womens

Saturday Soccer Games

An Eclair at Claim Jumper!

A clean house and drop off to D.I.

&

A pedicure

(I figure at least when I'm pushing out this baby, I can have nice looking toes!)

Baby Love

One More picture I forgot to put in. I wasn't going to take any belly shots, but I am glad Julie convinced me to let her. I think this picture captures exactly what pregnancy should really feel like (depiste all the negatives with being sick, weight gain, no sleeping, back pain, constant peeing, water retention, etc.) I hope I'll remember this moment for as long as I live. Enjoy the sweet mother poem below.

I loved you from the very start…

You stole my breath, embraced my heart.

Our life together has just begun,

You’re part of me, my little one.

As mother with child, each day I knew

My mind would be filled with thoughts of you.

I’m daydreaming of the things we’ll share,

Like late-night bottles and teddy bears.

Like first steps and skinned knees,Like bedtime stories and ABC’s.

I’m thinking of things you’ll want to know,

Like how birds fly and flowers grow.

I’ve thought of lessons I’ll need to share,

Like standing tall and playing fair.

When I first see your precious face,

I’ll pray your life be touched with grace.

I’ll thank the angels from above,

And promise you unending love.

Each night I’ll lay you down to sleep,

I’ll gently kiss your head and cheek.

I’ll count your little fingers and toes,

I’ll memorize your eyes and nose.

I will linger at your nursery door,

Awed each day that I love you more.

Through misty eyes, I’ll dim the light,

And whisper, “I love you” every night.

As mother with child our journey’s begun,

My heart’s yours forever, little one.

I loved you from the very start…

You stole my breath, embraced my heart.

I thought it would be nice to take some pictues before the baby comes (hopefully by the end of this month, if I am lucky), so I had my friend Julie take our pictures. (She is a wonderful photographer if anyone is looking for one). When I look back over the pictures, I can't believe how old our girls are. Time really does go by so fast. They aren't little babies any more. I hope that with this third baby, I won't be so busy that I miss the opportunities to enjoy the momemts that I have holding a baby again. I am sure I will be stressed, tired and feel rundown, but I know how important it is to truly embrace the blessings I have and enjoy even the crazy times as a mom!
